Job Summary
The Cinematographer & Video Editor is responsible for planning, capturing, and editing high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, social media, advertisements, documentaries, events, and other visual storytelling projects. The role combines technical expertise in camera operation with strong post-production editing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Cinematography
Plan and execute video shoots based on project requirements.
Operate cameras, lenses, lighting, audio, and related production equipment.
Set up and manage lighting for different shooting environments.
Compose visually compelling shots that align with creative objectives.
Collaborate with directors, producers, and clients during production.
Video Editing
Edit raw footage into polished final videos.
Perform color correction and color grading.
Add graphics, titles, transitions, visual effects, and sound design.
Synchronize audio, music, and voiceovers.
Export videos in required formats for various platforms.
Project Management
Organize and maintain video assets and project files.
Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Stay updated on industry trends, equipment, and editing techniques.
Ensure proper backup and storage of production files.
Required Skills
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Strong understanding of camera systems, framing, lighting, and composition.
Knowledge of color grading and audio editing.
Experience with motion graphics software (Adobe After Effects is a plus).
Strong storytelling and creative visualization skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
