About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our content production team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for visual storytelling and experience editing news content, feature stories, documentaries, and digital media videos. Candidates with experience in motion graphics and visual effects will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit news stories, feature segments, documentaries, interviews, and promotional videos.

- Create compelling visual narratives through effective storytelling, pacing, and sequencing.

- Enhance video quality through professional editing, color correction, and audio balancing.

- Ensure content meets editorial and broadcasting standards.

- Develop motion graphics, animations, title cards, lower thirds, and visual effects as required.

- Collaborate with producers, reporters, anchors, camerapersons, and social media teams.

- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.

- Create content optimized for television, digital platforms, and social media.

- Organize and maintain video footage, project files, graphics, and archives.

- Deliver high-quality work within deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and EDIUS.

- Experience with Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics software is an advantage.

- Strong understanding of video storytelling, transitions, pacing, and composition.

- Knowledge of audio editing, sound design, and synchronization.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines.

- Strong attention to detail and creativity.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Video Editing, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Film Production, Animation, or a related field.

- 1–3 years of experience in video editing, content production, television, or digital media.

- Experience in news media or broadcast environments is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Immediate joiners preferred.

- Portfolio or showreel is mandatory/preferred.

- Passion for storytelling and content creation.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
