Job Title: Video Editor (Reels & Meta Ads) — Photo Editing a Plus

About the Role

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce scroll-stopping content for Instagram Reels and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns. This is primarily a video editing role, with some photo editing work as well. If you know how to hook viewers in the first 3 seconds and keep them watching, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook, and Meta ad campaigns

- Add captions, transitions, sound effects, music, and motion graphics

- Cut and pace footage to maximize watch time and engagement

- Resize and format videos for different placements (Reels, Stories, Feed)

- Light photo editing — thumbnails, ad creatives, promotional images

- Make quick revisions based on feedback

- Stay updated on current trends, hooks, and editing styles

Requirements

- Proven experience editing short-form video (portfolio required)

- Proficiency with editing tools (Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or similar)

- Strong sense of pacing, timing, and visual storytelling

- Understanding of what performs well on Instagram/Meta

- Basic photo editing skills (Photoshop, Canva, or similar)

- Reliable, communicative, and able to meet deadlines

Nice to Have

- Experience editing ads in the finance/trading niche

- Motion graphics and animation skills

- Familiarity with Meta ad creative best practices
