About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can create engaging, high-quality short-form content for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, UGC videos, and social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels & short-form videos

• Edit UGC and influencer videos for brands and social media

• Create motion graphics, text animations, transitions and visual effects

• Add captions, sound effects, music, zooms, cuts and other elements to improve engagement

• Follow current social media trends and create content optimized for retention

• Repurpose long-form videos into engaging short-form content

• Maintain consistent visual quality and brand style across videos

• Work with the creative/marketing team to understand concepts and deliver videos on time

Requirements

• 6 months – 2 years of professional video editing experience

• Strong understanding of Reels, Shorts and social media content

• Experience editing UGC/influencer videos

• Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation

• Good sense of timing, storytelling, pacing and visual composition

• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, VN or similar tools

• Understanding of social media trends, hooks and audience retention

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• A strong creative eye and attention to detail

Good to Have

• Experience with brand/agency content

• Basic graphic design skills

• Knowledge of Canva/Photoshop

• Experience creating performance-focused ads

• Understanding of YouTube and Instagram content trends
