Video Editor( intern)

Socionaut Media is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Reel Video Editor & Shoot Intern who has a strong interest in creating and editing short-form social media content such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

This is an in-office role designed for candidates who want hands-on exposure to real brand content, social media campaigns, creative work within a growing social media marketing agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging short-form videos and reels for Instagram and other social media platforms.

• Work with raw footage, music, captions, transitions, and text overlays.

• Ensure videos are fast-paced, visually engaging, and optimized for viewer retention.

• Assist the team during content shoots and on-ground brand activities.

• Follow brand guidelines while maintaining creative quality.

• Make edits and revisions based on team feedback.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of short-form video editing and social media formats

• Familiarity with tools such as CapCut, VN, Canva, Instagram, and Edits

• Basic videography skills will be an added advantage

• Good sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling

• Awareness of social media trends and reel formats

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Candidates who are familiar with these tools and skills will be preferred.
