A Travel Sales Executive is responsible for selling travel-related products and services (such as tour packages, flights, hotels, and holiday plans) to customers, while providing excellent customer service and meeting sales targets.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Acquisition
Promote and sell travel packages, flights, hotel bookings, and other travel services.
Identify potential customers through calls, emails, and walk-ins.
Achieve monthly or quarterly sales targets.
Customer Consultation
Understand clients’ travel preferences, budget, and requirements.
Recommend suitable destinations, packages, and travel plans.
Travel Planning & Booking
Arrange flight tickets, hotel reservations, visa assistance, and travel insurance.
Prepare customized itineraries for individuals or groups.
Documentation & Coordination
Maintain booking records and customer databases.
Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and visa agencies.
Required Skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Sales and persuasion ability
Good knowledge of travel destinations and tourism industry
Customer service orientation
Ability to use booking systems and CRM tools
Qualification
1–3 years’ experience in travel sales or travel agency operations, Vendor Management Domestic & International Sales. (often preferred).
