Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Tourism Sales Representative to promote and sell travel and tourism packages to clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, strong communication skills, and a customer-first attitude. You will be responsible for converting inquiries into bookings, building client relationships, and hitting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and sell tourism packages, travel deals, and destination services to individual and group clients.
Handle inbound and outbound sales calls and respond to travel inquiries via email or messaging platforms.
Understand client needs and provide tailored travel solutions, including flights, accommodation, tours, and travel insurance.
Maintain knowledge of current travel trends, destinations, visa regulations, and seasonal promotions.
Build and maintain a customer database and follow up with leads and past clients.
Prepare quotations, itineraries, and booking confirmations.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Work closely with travel suppliers, tour operators, and internal marketing teams.
Requirements:
Proven experience in travel or tourism sales, customer service, or a similar role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
Good knowledge of popular travel destinations, tour packages, and booking platforms (e.g., GDS systems, CRM tools).
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or Sales is an advantage.
