Nexus Visa International is a leading visa and immigration consultancy with offices across Ahmedabad, Surat, Chennai, and London. We specialise in student visas, work permits, tourist visas, and overseas education counselling for destinations including the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Germany, and more. We are growing our Chennai team and are looking for a motivated Telecaller to join us at our Vadapalani branch.

Role Overview

As a Telecaller, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students and clients. Your primary responsibility is to make outbound calls, follow up on leads, understand the client's visa and study abroad requirements, and guide them toward booking a consultation with our senior counsellors. You will play a vital role in our lead conversion pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

•       Make outbound calls to prospective students and their parents from assigned lead lists

•       Follow up diligently on inquiries received via WhatsApp, social media, email, and walk-ins

•       Understand client requirements — destination country, course type, budget, and timeline

•       Clearly communicate Nexus Visa's services, packages, and process in English and Tamil

•       Maintain accurate call logs, lead status updates, and follow-up schedules in the CRM

•       Convert warm leads into confirmed consultations/appointments with counsellors

•       Meet daily and weekly calling targets and KPIs set by the branch manager

•       Handle basic queries related to visa processes, documents, and eligibility

•       Coordinate with counsellors to ensure smooth lead handoff and client onboarding

•       Participate in branch events, education fairs, and webinars when required

Candidate Requirements

Must-Have

•       Minimum 1 year of experience in telecalling, inside sales, or student counselling

•       Proficient in English — clear verbal communication is essential for this role

•       Comfortable making 60–80 outbound calls per day

•       Basic computer literacy — MS Excel, WhatsApp Business, email

•       Target-oriented mindset with good follow-up discipline

•       Willingness to work 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday)

Good to Have

•       Prior experience in the education, immigration, or consultancy sector

•       Knowledge of Tamil — preferred for communicating with local clients

•       Familiarity with study abroad destinations (USA, Canada, UK, Australia)

•       Experience using a CRM tool or lead management software
