Job Purpose
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of inquiries received via online channels (such as IndiaMART, TradeIndia, Google Business, and Social Media). The goal is to ensure rapid response times, provide technical/commercial clarity to prospects, and drive conversion rates to meet monthly revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management & Conversion:
Monitor and manage incoming inquiries from IndiaMART, Google, and other B2B portals in real-time.
Conduct initial screening and qualification of leads to identify high-potential buyers.
Follow up rigorously via phone, email, and WhatsApp to move prospects through the sales funnel.
Technical & Commercial Consulting:
Understand the customer’s specific requirements and suggest appropriate product solutions.
Prepare and dispatch professional quotations, proforma invoices, and commercial proposals.
Negotiate pricing and credit terms within company-approved margins.
Platform Optimization:
Maintain an updated company profile on all digital channels to improve lead quality.
Monitor "Buy Leads" and "Inquiries" dashboards to ensure no lead goes unattended.
Coordinate with the digital marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality.
Relationship & CRM Management:
Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM or lead-tracking database.
Manage post-sales coordination for order processing and payment collection.
Build long-term relationships with repeat B2B buyers and distributors.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Inside Sales or B2B Sales, specifically handling online inquiries.
Platform Expertise: Direct experience managing dashboards like IndiaMART Seller Central or similar B2B marketplaces is highly preferred.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (knowledge of regional languages like Marathi is a plus).
Negotiation: Proven ability to handle price objections and close deals in a competitive market.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Excel, and digital communication tools.
