Job Overview

We are looking for a confident, target-oriented, and result-driven Sales & Business Development Executive to drive sponsorship acquisition for upcoming events and concerts.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with cold calling, networking, meeting business owners, presenting sponsorship opportunities, negotiating, and converting prospects into confirmed sponsors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential sponsors for concerts and events.

• Research companies, brands, local businesses, and institutions that could benefit from event association.

• Build and continuously maintain a strong sponsor database.

• Generate leads through cold calls, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals.

• Connect with business owners, decision-makers, and potential sponsors.

• Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective sponsors.

• Present sponsorship proposals and explain sponsorship packages.

• Follow up consistently with prospects until closure.

• Negotiate with prospects within the given commercial guidelines.

• Convert prospects into confirmed sponsors.

• Maintain and update the sales pipeline from Lead → Contacted → Meeting → Proposal → Negotiation → Confirmed → Payment Received.

• Ensure sponsorship payments are collected within the agreed timelines.

• Work effectively under event deadlines and achieve assigned targets.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Sponsorship Sales, Advertising Sales, Media Sales, or related fields.

• Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

• Confident and comfortable speaking on the phone and meeting business owners.

• Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.

• Target-oriented and persistent approach.

• Presentable and professional personality.

• Good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.

• Professional WhatsApp and email communication etiquette.

• Willingness to travel across Pune for client meetings.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight event deadlines.

• Existing corporate or business contacts.

• Experience in advertising or media sales.

• Previous experience in event sponsorship sales.

• Strong network among Pune-based businesses and brands.

• Experience working with corporate sponsors, local businesses, or event partners.
