Role Summary:
The Home Loan Counsellor (Tele Sales) connects with prospective customers by phone to explain home loan products, assess basic eligibility, and convert leads into loan applications. The role involves handling inbound enquiries and outbound calls to leads from digital campaigns, builders, existing customers, and other sources, and guiding customers up to document collection and login.
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to leads and handle inbound enquiries.
Explain home loan products (purchase, construction, renovation, balance transfer, top-up), interest rates, tenure, EMI, processing fees, and charges.
Do a quick eligibility check over the call: income, existing obligations, age, CIBIL score, property details, and expected loan amount.
Handle objections and pitch the bank’s advantages, especially for balance transfer and competitor-comparison queries.
Collect and guide customers on KYC, income, and property documents, and follow up until the application is logged.
Log all calls, lead status, and follow-up dates accurately in the CRM/dialer.
Coordinate with field sales, credit, and operations teams to hand over qualified leads and track progress to sanction and disbursement.
Run follow-up calls on pending documents, sanctions, and disbursements to keep conversion on track.
Follow RBI guidelines, Fair Practices Code, TRAI/DND rules, and call-recording and script compliance. Never make false commitments or mis-sell.
Meet monthly targets for qualified leads, logins, sanctions, and disbursements.
