Role Summary
The Education Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective learners through the
enrolment journey while ensuring high responsiveness, superior call quality, and strict CRM
discipline. The role demands quick turnaround time (TAT), consultative counselling, and
process adherence to deliver a strong learner experience and meet enrolment targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and qualify leads from campaigns, website, webinars, and referrals.
• Respond to leads within 15 minutes via calls, WhatsApp, email, or LinkedIn.
• Counsel professionals and graduates on program options with clear, ethical communication.
• Guide learners through application, payment, and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate CRM updates and reports.
• Achieve enrolment and revenue targets while meeting KPIs (response time, call quality,
CRM accuracy).
Role Specifications & Required Skills:
• Education: Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience: 1-4 years in a customer facing sales role; previous experience in inside sales
within the Ed-tech/ Education industry would be preferred.
Skills:
• Strong command of professional call handling and objection management
• Ability to maintain quality conversations under high lead volumes
• High attention to detail for CRM updates and documentation
• Process-driven mindset with ownership of TAT and follow-ups.
