Business Development Executives (INTERNS) will engage with customers over phone calls, promoting products/services, generating leads, and assisting with sales follow-up activities. This internship provides hands-on exposure to sales communication, customer handling, and promotional activities.
Make outbound calls to potential customers to introduce and promote company products/services.
Explain product features, benefits, offers, and promotions clearly and professionally.
Generate leads and schedule appointments for the sales team.
Maintain and update customer databases with accurate information.
Follow up on warm leads, inquiries, and previous communication.
Support sales campaigns, promotional activities, and tele-calling drives.
Handle customer queries and direct them to the appropriate team when required.
Achieve weekly/monthly calling and lead-generation targets.
Provide daily/weekly reports on call activity, lead status, and customer responses.
Good communication skills in English and 2 regional languages
Confident, polite, and customer-friendly telephone manner
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email)
Ability to learn product information quickly
Persuasive speaking and active listening skills
Self-motivated, disciplined and target-oriented
Any undergraduate or graduate student
Freshers with interest in sales, customer communication or marketing
Prior calling experience is an added advantage but not mandatory
Hands-on experience in tele-sales and customer engagement
Exposure to sales targets and promotional strategies
Certificate of Internship upon successful completion
