About the Role

WHY TAP is looking for a motivated and target-oriented Admission Counsellor to drive student admissions by counselling prospective students and promoting our IT training programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and understand their career and training requirements.

- Promote and sell IT courses and training programs offered by WHY TAP.

- Handle enquiries through calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.

- Explain course curriculum, benefits, fees, placement support, and career opportunities.

- Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into successful admissions.

- Achieve monthly admission and sales targets.

- Maintain regular follow-ups and update lead status.

- Build strong relationships with students and parents.

- Handle objections using effective convincing and negotiation skills.

- Coordinate with the training and placement teams for smooth student onboarding.

Required Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong convincing, counselling, and negotiation skills.

- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.

- Experience or interest in IT Course Sales / Educational Sales.

- Good follow-up and lead conversion skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience in Education Sales, EdTech, Training Institutes, or IT Course Sales will be preferred.
