Job Summary

The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for making outbound/inbound calls, handling admission inquiries, explaining course details, and converting leads into successful admissions. The role requires strong communication skills, convincing ability, and student-friendly interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective students and respond to incoming inquiries.

• Counsel students/parents over the phone regarding available courses, eligibility, fees, and career opportunities.

• Understand the candidate’s academic background and guide them to choose the right program.

• Maintain and update daily call logs, lead status, and student information in CRM/Excel.

• Follow up regularly with interested students until admission is completed.

• Assist students with the admission process, documentation, and form filling.

• Achieve daily call targets and monthly admission conversion goals.

• Handle objections politely and resolve queries effectively.

• Coordinate with the admission team for scheduling counselling sessions.

• Ensure excellent communication and a professional attitude during every interaction.

Required Skills

• Strong verbal communication skills (Hindi/English)

• Good listening and convincing skills

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM usage)

• Ability to multitask and handle pressure

• Positive attitude and confidence while speaking

• Customer service mindset

Qualifications

• Minimum 12th pass; Graduation preferred

• Prior experience in counselling/telecalling is an added advantage

• Freshers with good communication skills may also apply
