Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Academic Counsellor – Inside Sales to guide prospective students and parents regarding educational programs, courses, and career opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for handling leads, counselling prospects, and converting enquiries into admissions/enrolments.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospective students and parents.

• Understand students' educational and career requirements and recommend suitable courses/programs.

• Explain course details, benefits, eligibility, fees, career opportunities, and admission procedures.

• Follow up with leads through calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.

• Convert qualified leads into admissions/enrolments and achieve monthly sales targets.

• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM.

• Build strong relationships with prospective students throughout the counselling and admission process.

• Handle objections and provide appropriate solutions to prospective students.

• Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth enrolment process.

• Meet daily calling, follow-up, conversion, and revenue targets.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.

Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales or Marketing is an advantage.

• 1– 6 years of experience in Inside Sales, Academic Counselling, Education Sales, Telesales, or Admissions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong convincing, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.

• Target-oriented and self-motivated.

• Comfortable making a high volume of calls and following up with leads.

• Basic knowledge of CRM and MS Office/Google Workspace.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
