Technician

We are looking for a Splicer to join our team at V5 GLOBAL SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED. to repair, install, replace, and service different systems and equipment like heavy machinery, home appliances like TVs, and others. The role involves monitoring & servicing systems, diagnosing problems, and troubleshooting equipment, etc. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹17,000 - ₹30,000 with growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cable Preparation: Ring-cutting, stripping, and preparing fiber or copper cables for splicing.

• Splicing Execution: Performing fusion or mechanical splicing on single or ribbon cables.

• Testing & Troubleshooting: Using specialized equipment like Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDR) and power meters to test signal loss and network integrity.

• Site Maintenance: Installing and organizing splice enclosures, closures, and equipment racks.

• Documentation: Logging splice locations, test results, and completing daily time/material reports. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is below 10th and 0 - 4 years of experience. Applicants should be able to multitask, explain problems simply and clearly, and follow health & safety regulations. Proficiency in MS Office is a plus.
