Job Title: Solar Installer Technician

Job Summary:
A Solar Installer Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. They ensure solar panels and related equipment are installed safely, efficiently, and according to electrical and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install solar PV panels, mounting systems, inverters, batteries, and electrical components.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and installation plans.

• Assemble and secure solar panel structures on rooftops or ground-mounted systems.

• Connect electrical wiring and test system performance.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot faults in solar power systems.

• Follow safety procedures, including working at heights and using personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Ensure installations comply with local electrical, building, and safety regulations.

• Maintain installation tools and equipment.

• Complete installation reports and documentation.

• Coordinate with engineers, electricians, and project managers to complete projects on schedule.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and electrical principles.

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.

• Basic understanding of electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
