Key Responsibilities
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify wear and tear, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance (e.g., lubricating parts, replacing filters) to prevent sudden breakdowns.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Investigate mechanical failures using diagnostic tools and testing equipment to isolate the root cause of the issue.
Repairs & Overhauls: Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment by replacing faulty components such as valves, bearings, seals, and belts.
Equipment Installation: Assist in the assembly, calibration, and installation of new machinery, ensuring it aligns with engineering specifications and safety
Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment conditions, typically utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict industrial safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
