An RO (Reverse Osmosis) Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, and routine maintenance of water purification systems. They diagnose technical faults, replace faulty membranes/filters, and ensure the delivery of safe drinking water for domestic or commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
Installation: Safely install, assemble, and set up new RO water purifiers at customer sites.
Maintenance & Servicing: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, including cleaning systems and replacing expired filters or membranes.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems, including pump failures, low water pressure, and leaks.
Water Quality Testing: Test water parameters such as Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and pH levels to ensure optimal purification.
Customer Service: Educate clients on proper product usage, maintenance, and generate revenue by selling AMCs (Annual Maintenance Contracts) or spare parts.
Reporting: Log daily service calls, maintain inventory records of parts, and submit accurate invoices.
