Position : Plant Maintenance Technician- Poultry Processing Plant

Location: Malur, Kolar, Karnataka

Salary: Up to 35K per month

Experience: 3–7 years

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field

Company operates in the poultry and food products sector, with business activities including poultry processing, cold-chain facilities, and food distribution.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair poultry processing machinery and equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, motors, gearboxes, and electrical panels.

• Maintain cold rooms, blast freezers, and refrigeration equipment.

• Inspect and maintain industrial boilers and other plant utility equipment.

• Identify electrical and mechanical faults and resolve equipment breakdowns.

• Perform regular preventive maintenance to avoid machine failures.

• Maintain maintenance records and report equipment problems.

• Follow workplace safety and food hygiene procedures.

• Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth plant operations.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.

• Hands-on experience with industrial motors, conveyors, and control panels.

• Knowledge of VFDs, sensors, and electrical wiring.

• Experience with refrigeration systems and cold rooms is preferred.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and handle breakdowns.

• Willingness to work shifts when required.

Candidate Requirements

• ITI or Diploma in a relevant technical field.

• 3–7 years of industrial maintenance experience.

• Experience in poultry, food processing, meat processing, dairy, or manufacturing plants is preferred.

• Knowledge of industrial safety procedures.

Preferred Experience

Experience with blast freezers, refrigeration systems, boilers, and PLC-controlled machinery will be an advantage.
