Solar Executive – Operations, Sales & Execution (Detailed Responsibilities)
1. Operations & Execution
Manage end-to-end execution of solar projects from planning to commissioning
Ensure proper implementation of installation activities as per design and standards
Monitor daily site progress and resolve on-site issues
Coordinate with internal teams for smooth workflow and timely execution
2. Daily Coordination with Labour & Team
Assign daily tasks to labour teams and supervise their work
Maintain regular communication with technicians, electricians, and vendors
Ensure availability of manpower as per project requirements
Guide team members to follow proper installation procedures and safety norms
3. Ensure Timely Completion with Quality Standards
Track project timelines and ensure work is completed within deadlines
Maintain quality standards during structure, panel, and electrical installation
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks
Take corrective actions in case of delays or quality issues
4. Material & Tool Management
Plan and manage material requirements as per project BOQ
Ensure availability of required tools and equipment at site
Track material usage and avoid wastage or shortages
Coordinate with procurement team for timely material delivery
5. Liaisoning (Approvals & Coordination)
Handle coordination with government offices and authorities for approvals
Follow up for net metering, DISCOM approvals, and documentation
Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
Communicate with clients regarding approval status
6. Pre-Sales Activities (Site Visit & Technical Feasibility)
Conduct site visits to assess feasibility of solar installation
Analyze rooftop area, shadow-free space, and structural suitability
Discuss customer requirements and suggest appropriate system size
Prepare site assessment reports and technical recommendations
7. Costing & BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
Prepare detailed BOQ based on site analysis and system design
Estimate project cost including materials, labour, and other expenses
Support in preparing quotations and proposals for clients
Optimize costing while maintaining quality and performance standards
8. Additional Skills
Maintained coordination between sales, technical, and execution work.
Ensured customer satisfaction through timely delivery and quality service
Handled multiple projects simultaneously.
