Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth functioning of machines and equipment by performing preventive and breakdown maintenance. The candidate should minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical equipment

• Inspect machines regularly to identify faults and wear & tear

• Repair or replace defective machine parts (bearings, belts, gears, etc.)

• Ensure proper lubrication and alignment of machinery

• Maintain maintenance records and logs

• Coordinate with production team to reduce downtime

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively

• Follow safety standards and maintenance procedures

• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machines

• Ensure tools and spare parts are properly maintained

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components

• Hands-on experience in machine maintenance

• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals

• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (preferred)

• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Experience

• 1–5 years (Freshers with strong technical knowledge can also apply)

Working Conditions

• Factory/Industrial environment

• Shift-based work (if required)

• May involve physical work and emergency breakdown handling
