Maintenance Technician

A&M Agri Ventures Private Limited is having an Agroforestery Project named Atulye Krishi Vana near Village: Ramgarh, Tehsil: Ichhawar, District: Sehore (which is 1hour 25minutes travel time from Bhopal and 35min travel time from Icchawar)

Candidate Profile: Experienced professional who have worked in Repair and Maintenance (Electrical / Mechanical). Ex-Army Personnel (NCO/JCO Technical) below the age of 50years can also apply.

Education Qualification: Diploma / Certificate from ITI (Mechanical or Electrical). Must have experience to work on Electrical Maintenance and/or Mechanical Maintenance. The person must be comfortable to prepare data and reports for the Operations team.

A prior experience in equipment maintenance with Agriculture based industry is highly desirable.

Experience: 6months - 3years | Ex- Army Personnel (NCO/JCO - Technical)

Job Location: Agroforestry Project site.

Working Days: Monday - Saturday

Other Support:

a. The accommodation will be provided to the employee on sharing basis at the site itself.

b. Food will be provided at the site with a nominal contribution.

c. Washing Machines, Recreational activities are provided at the site itself.

The personal will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and operational continuity of farm machinery, irrigation systems, facility infrastructure, and sometimes vehicles, supporting sustainable agriculture and reforestation efforts.

Job Overview
The role focuses on ensuring that equipment (tractors, sprayers, chainsaws) and infrastructure (water pumps, greenhouses, nurseries) are functional, safe, and efficient. They perform routine preventive maintenance and rapid repairs to minimize operational downtime.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

1. Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, lubrication, part replacement) on agricultural implements, including tractors, rototillers, chainsaws, and weed-whackers.

2. Irrigation & Water System Management: Maintain, and repair water pumps, pipes, drip/sprinkler systems, and water storage tanks.

3. Infrastructure Support: Maintain infrastructure, fence repairs, and basic building electrical/plumbing systems.

4. Preventive Maintenance Planning: Develop and execute regular maintenance schedules for equipment to prevent failures.

5. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of repairs, preventative maintenance tasks, and inventory of spare parts in digital or physical formats.

6. Safety and Compliance: Ensure the adherence to the safety and applicable compliance standards while handling the products and /or equipment.
