Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

 Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery

 Ensure maximum uptime of machines such as Tyre Cutter, Shredder, Granulator/Cracker Mill, Pulverizer, Vibrating Screens, Magnetic Separators

 Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, dust collection units

 Lead and supervise maintenance team (fitters, electricians, technicians)

 Develop and implement maintenance SOPs, checklists, and schedules

 Conduct root cause analysis for breakdowns and implement corrective actions

 Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, and balancing of rotating equipment

 Maintain records of maintenance activities, logs, and spare parts inventory

 Coordinate with production team for maintenance planning and shutdowns

 Control maintenance costs and optimize resource utilization

 Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory norms

 Handle vendor coordination, AMC management, and external service providers

 Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, 5S, Kaizen

Required Skills:

 Strong knowledge of crumb rubber/tyre recycling machinery

 Expertise in mechanical maintenance and basic electrical systems

 Hands-on experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment

 Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

 Leadership and team management capability
