Job Summary
We are looking for a Field Technical Support Engineer who will be responsible for on-site installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of digital signage hardware such as screens, media players, standees, and network devices. The role requires frequent field visits and coordination with internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
● Install, configure, and commission digital signage hardware (TVs, LED screens, media players, standees).
● Perform on-site troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and power-related issues.
● Configure CMS applications, APKs, playlists, schedules, and screen orientation (portrait/landscape).
● Diagnose issues related to connectivity (Wi-Fi, LAN, SIM/data cards, routers).
● Coordinate with backend/support teams for CMS, content, and configuration support.
● Conduct site surveys and share feasibility reports (power socket, network, mounting, permissions).
● Replace faulty hardware and coordinate RMA/OEM support when required.
● Ensure installations follow safety and SOP guidelines.
● Provide basic training to client/store staff after installation.
● Maintain visit reports, installation checklists, photos/videos, and closure confirmation.
● Coordinate with vendors, mall authorities, airport authorities, and store managers for access and permissions.
Required Skills & Knowledge
● Basic understanding of TVs, LED displays, HDMI media players
● Knowledge of Android-based devices & APK installation
● Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, LAN, SIM-based connectivity, IP/firewall basics)
● Ability to troubleshoot power, HDMI, controller, and display issues
● Familiar with CMS-based content playback (online/offline)
● Good communication and coordination skills
● Willingness to travel and work in the field
● Knowledge of Electrical fitting

Qualifications
● Diploma / ITI / Diploma in Electronics, IT, Computer Science, or related field
● 1–3 years of experience in field installation or technical support (preferred)
● Two-wheeler with valid license (mandatory)
● Four-wheeler driving experience is an added advantage.

● Handling vendors and third-party technicians
