Active LED Screen Service Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Active LED Screen Engineer to handle installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and service of LED display systems at client locations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, test, and commission indoor and outdoor LED display screens.

Perform LED module, cabinet, power supply, receiving card, sending card, and controller-level troubleshooting.

Diagnose issues related to display, power, signal, connectivity, brightness, color, and alignment.

Carry out LED module replacement, cabinet replacement, pixel/module testing, and basic repairs.

Configure LED controllers, processors, sending cards, and receiving cards.

Perform screen calibration, alignment, brightness adjustment, and content testing.

Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of LED displays.

Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for technical support and warranty-related issues.

Attend customer complaints and provide timely technical resolution.

Conduct site surveys and identify electrical, structural, connectivity, and installation requirements.

Prepare service reports, installation reports, checklists, and handover documents.

Coordinate with Logistics, Project, Sales, and Service teams for material and site requirements.

Travel to client locations as required for installation and service activities.

Follow company safety procedures and maintain proper documentation for every site visit.

Required Technical Skills

Good knowledge of Active LED display systems and components.

Experience with LED controllers/processors such as Novastar, Colorlight, Huidu, or similar systems.

Basic understanding of LAN/networking, HDMI, DP, DVI, USB, and other display interfaces.

Ability to read basic electrical and wiring diagrams.

Knowledge of SMPS/power supply, receiving cards, HUB cards, LED modules, and cabinets.

Basic computer and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to identify and resolve hardware and signal-related issues.
