Job Description: Medical Billing AR Caller & Denial Management TrainerJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Billing AR Caller & Denial Management Trainer to lead, design, and deliver comprehensive training programs for our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding new hires and upskilling existing team members in Accounts Receivable (AR) follow-up, denial management analysis, and US healthcare regulations. Your goal is to ensure the team meets collection targets, reduces days in AR, and minimizes write-offs through exceptional technical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Development

• Onboarding Training: Conduct end-to-end training for new hires on US Healthcare infrastructure, medical billing cycles, and core AR functionalities.

• Denial Management: Train employees on identifying denial root causes, analyzing adjustment codes, and executing corrective actions (appeals, corrections, re-submissions).

• Call Shadowing: Conduct live call-shadowing sessions to coach callers on negotiation skills, phone etiquette, and effective communication with US insurance providers.

• Curriculum Design: Create and update training modules, reference guides, SOPs, and assessment tests based on evolving industry standards.

Performance Monitoring & Quality Assurance

• Skill Gap Analysis: Evaluate the regular performance of AR callers to identify technical or communication knowledge gaps.

• Refresher Training: Design and execute targeted refresher modules for underperforming team members to improve resolution rates.

• Feedback Loops: Provide constructive, data-driven feedback to trainees and operational managers regarding performance progress.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any stream (Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or Commerce preferred).

• Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of core experience in US Medical Billing AR Follow-up and Denial Management, with at least 2+ years serving as a dedicated Trainer.

• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of clearinghouse rejections, commercial/government payers (Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, United Healthcare), and standard denial codes (CO, PR, OA, PI).

• Payer Knowledge: Complete familiarity with claim forms (CMS-1500 / UB-04) and standard insurance systems (WebMD, Availity, Navinet).

Key Competencies & Skills

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Epic, AdvancedMD, Kareo) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills with a neutral or highly adaptable accent for US client/payer interactions.

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to read, interpret, and explain Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs).

• Pedagogical Skills: Excellent public speaking, presentation, and classroom management capabilities.
