Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Curriculum Delivery

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.

• Deliver engaging lessons using creative teaching methods.

• Follow the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.

• Integrate play-based and activity-based learning (especially for pre-primary).

• Use educational technology where appropriate.

2. Student Development

• Support students’ cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth.

• Identify individual learning needs and provide additional support.

• Encourage positive behavior and classroom discipline.

• Foster creativity, curiosity, and independent thinking.

3. Assessment & Reporting

• Conduct regular assessments (formative and summative).

• Maintain accurate records of student progress.

• Prepare report cards and provide constructive feedback.

• Discuss student performance with parents during meetings.

4. Classroom Management

• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

• Organize classroom materials and learning resources.

• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.

5. Communication & Collaboration

• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians.

• Participate in staff meetings and professional development programs.

• Collaborate with colleagues for school events and activities.

6. Co-Curricular Involvement

• Organize and participate in school events, field trips, and celebrations.

• Encourage participation in arts, music, sports, and cultural activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (for pre-primary).

• Relevant teaching certification as per local education regulations.

• Prior teaching experience preferred (especially for primary level).
