Student Counsellor

We are looking for a motivated and professional Student Counsellor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students, understanding their educational and career goals, recommending suitable courses and institutions, and supporting them throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students regarding suitable courses, universities, and career opportunities.

• Understand students’ academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals.

• Provide accurate information about courses, fees, eligibility, admission requirements, and scholarships.

• Assist students with the application and admission process.

• Guide students with required documentation and application procedures.

• Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.

• Handle student enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email, and face-to-face meetings.

• Maintain student records and update information in the CRM/system.

• Build positive relationships with students and parents.

• Achieve individual and team counselling/admission targets.

• Coordinate with universities, institutions, and internal teams when required.

• Stay updated about courses, university requirements, and changes in admission or visa procedures.

• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive student experience.

• Good convincing and negotiation abilities.

• Ability to handle students and parents professionally.

• Good knowledge of MS Office, email, and CRM systems.

• Strong follow-up and time-management skills.

• Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.

• Previous experience in education counselling, admissions, sales, or study-abroad consultancy is preferred.

Experience

0–2 years of experience in student counselling, education consultancy, admissions, or sales. Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.
