Position: Sports Teacher (Special Needs Education)
Role Highlights:
Conduct sports, fitness, and movement-based sessions for children with special needs.
Support the development of motor skills, coordination, balance, and physical fitness.
Manage student behaviors using patience, positive reinforcement, and appropriate strategies.
Maintain student progress records and session data.
Collaborate closely with the special education and therapy teams.
Foster positive behaviour through structured routines, consistent reinforcement, and personalized strategies. Monitor and track each child's progress, making adjustments to teaching strategies as necessary.
Build strong relationships with parents by providing regular feedback on their child’s progress and discussing strategies to support learning at home. Work closely with behavioural therapists and other staff members to create a cohesive support system for each child.
Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in special education by attending workshops, conferences, and training programs. Participate in team meetings and contribute to curriculum development that supports BLISS's mission of creating self-sufficient and future-ready children.
Ensure compliance with BLISS’s policies, educational standards, and relevant legal requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Background in Sports, Physical Education, Sports Coaching, Sports Science, Psychology, or a related field.
Passion for working with children.
Patient, energetic, and willing to learn.
Freshers with relevant qualifications and an interest in special education are encouraged to apply.
Salary: ₹14,000 per month (6hr Shift)
