Position: Physical Education (PT) Teacher

Job Summary
The Physical Education (PT) Teacher is responsible for promoting students' physical fitness, health, sportsmanship, teamwork, and overall well-being through structured physical education programs and sports activities. The teacher will create a positive and engaging environment that encourages students to participate actively in physical activities and develop lifelong healthy habits.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and conduct Physical Education classes for students of all grades.
Teach fundamental movement skills, fitness techniques, and sports rules.
Organize indoor and outdoor sports activities, games, and fitness programs.
Conduct morning exercises, drills, yoga, and physical fitness assessments.
Train and prepare students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level competitions.
Organize Annual Sports Day, Inter-House Competitions, and other sports events.
Maintain discipline and ensure the safety of students during all sports activities.
Monitor and evaluate students' physical development and performance.
Identify and nurture talented students in various sports disciplines.
Maintain sports equipment, inventory, and playground facilities.
Promote values such as teamwork, leadership, discipline, fair play, and sportsmanship among students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school management regarding students' progress and participation in sports activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) / Master's Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.).
Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a school environment.
Strong knowledge of various indoor and outdoor sports.
Good communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to motivate and engage students in physical activities.
First Aid and sports coaching certifications will be an added advantage.
