Job Title: Nursing Faculty Member

(Tutor / Lecturer / Assistant Professor – as applicable)

Job Purpose:

To impart theoretical and practical nursing education in accordance with Indian Nursing Council (INC), Karnataka Nursing Council (KNC), and University norms, and to support the academic, clinical, and professional development of nursing students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver theory and clinical instruction as per prescribed nursing curriculum.

• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and conduct evaluations and examinations.

• Supervise and guide students during clinical postings and practical training.

• Maintain academic and clinical records, attendance, and internal assessment documentation.

• Participate in curriculum development, academic meetings, and faculty development programs.

• Mentor students and promote ethical, professional nursing practice.

• Comply with INC, KNC, University, and institutional regulations.

• Support institutional activities such as admissions, inspections, accreditation, and research initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• M.Sc Nursing with required experience as per INC norms.

• Registered with State Nursing Council.

• Teaching or clinical experience as prescribed by regulatory bodies.

• Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills.

• Clinical expertise and student mentoring ability.

• Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
