PGT Computer Science Teacher

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to teach Grade 11 students. The ideal candidate should have a strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and prior experience handling PGT classes.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science to Grade 11 students according to the prescribed curriculum.

• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.

• Explain programming concepts, computer fundamentals, and practical applications effectively.

• Conduct practical sessions and guide students in laboratory activities.

• Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and examinations.

• Monitor students’ academic progress and provide individual support when required.

• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage student participation.

• Coordinate with other teachers and school management regarding academic activities.

• Maintain academic records and communicate students’ progress to parents when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Computer Science at the PGT level.

• A relevant postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• B.Ed. qualification preferred or as required by the applicable recruitment norms.

• Strong knowledge of Computer Science concepts and programming.

• Excellent communication, classroom management, and teaching skills.

• Ability to prepare students for academic assessments and examinations.
