Job Description – PGT Mathematics Faculty (SSC)

Position: PGT Mathematics Faculty – SSC

Department: Academic / Teaching

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and passionate PGT Mathematics Faculty to teach and mentor students preparing for SSC examinations, including SSC CGL, CHSL, MTS, GD, and other relevant exams. The faculty member will be responsible for delivering concept-focused lectures, developing students' problem-solving skills, conducting assessments, and helping learners improve their speed and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging Mathematics classes for SSC aspirants.

- Cover the complete SSC Quantitative Aptitude/Mathematics syllabus.

- Explain concepts using simple, exam-oriented techniques.

- Develop students' calculation speed, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.

- Prepare and deliver practice questions, worksheets, assignments, and mock tests.

- Conduct regular tests and analyze student performance.

- Provide individual feedback and academic guidance to students.

- Keep students updated with important SSC exam patterns, question types, and trends.

- Develop shortcuts, tricks, and time-saving approaches wherever appropriate.

- Coordinate with the academic team to improve course content and student outcomes.

- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and motivating classroom environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics or a related field; B.Ed. preferred.

- Strong command of Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Number System, Data Interpretation, and other SSC Mathematics topics.

- Good understanding of SSC exam patterns and question trends.

- Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.

- Ability to explain difficult mathematical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Comfortable using digital teaching tools and online/offline learning platforms.

Preferred Experience

- 2–5 years of teaching experience in SSC/competitive-exam coaching.

- Prior experience with reputed coaching institutes will be an advantage.

- Proven record of helping students improve their scores and competitive-exam performance.
