Position: Kindergarten Teacher

Educational Qualification

• ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education)

• NTT (Nursery Teacher Training)

• D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education)

• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education)

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate learning activities for kindergarten students.

• Teach basic concepts such as alphabets, numbers, colours, shapes, and rhymes.

• Create a safe, positive, and child-friendly classroom environment.

• Encourage children's creativity, communication, social skills, and overall development.

• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and classroom activities.

• Monitor children's academic progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones.

• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding children's progress.

• Manage classroom discipline with patience and care.

• Organise storytelling, drawing, music, dance, and play-based learning activities.

• Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of all students.

• Patience and a caring attitude towards children.

• Creativity and the ability to conduct activity-based learning.

• Knowledge of early childhood development.

• Basic computer skills and lesson-planning abilities.

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant qualification in ECCE, NTT, D.El.Ed, or B.Ed.

• Passion for teaching and working with young children.

• Good verbal communication and classroom-handling abilities.
