High School Math Faculty (AS/A LEVEL)

Location : T Nagar Campus

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). The ideal candidate will create engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and holistic development.

Akshar Arbol International School is a K-12 international school, offering the International Baccalaureate and Cambridge International programmes, in its two campuses at Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics to students in the secondary grades (Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and/or AS & A Level, depending on experience).

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.

• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, and learning resources.

• Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.

• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

• Prepare students effectively for Cambridge checkpoint and board examinations.

• Maintain accurate academic records, reports, and assessment data.

• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.

• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, professional development programmes, and departmental planning sessions.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field.

• B.Ed. or an equivalent teaching qualification.

• Cambridge teaching certification is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a Cambridge curriculum school.

• Experience teaching IGCSE Mathematics is preferred.

• Experience teaching AS & A Level Statistics will be an added advantage.

• It is a Full Time గురువు / బోధకుడు job for candidates with 4 - 6+ years Experience.
