Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher at Holding Hope Centre for Speech & Hearing, located in Sector Omicron I, Greater Noida. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans for children with special needs. They will also conduct assessments, provide support, and collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for their students.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.

2. Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.

3. Provide specialized instruction in various settings, including inclusive classrooms, resource rooms, and one-on-one sessions.

4. Collaborate with general education teachers to develop and implement accommodations and modifications.

5. Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

6. Communicate student progress and concerns with parents and guardians.

7. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student support plans.

8. Stay up-to-date with best practices in special education and incorporate new strategies into instruction.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Special Education or related field.

2. Valid special education teaching certification.

3. Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.

4. Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

7. Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Special Education or related field.

2. Experience with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.

3. Bilingual or multilingual skills.

4. Experience working with students with severe disabilities.
