English teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher for Grades 3–8. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong command of the English language, and the ability to create an engaging and interactive learning environment. Fresh graduates with a B.Ed. are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.

• Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

• Foster students' creativity, critical thinking, and communication abilities.

• Assess students' academic performance through classwork, assignments, projects, and examinations.

• Provide constructive feedback to support student growth and improvement.

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress.

• Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.

• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.

• Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and parents to support students' academic development.

• Participate in school events, meetings, training sessions, and co-curricular activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English or a related discipline.

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) – Mandatory

• 0–5 years of teaching experience (Freshers are welcome to apply).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.

• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with digital teaching tools.

Preferred Skills

• Excellent pronunciation and fluency in English.

• Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners.

• Creative lesson planning and activity-based teaching approach.

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
