We are looking for a passionate and technically strong AI & Robotics Subject Matter Expert (SME) who can deliver engaging, hands-on STEM learning experiences to K–12 students.
The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Science, particularly Physics, along with practical knowledge of Arduino, electronics, robotics, programming, and AI concepts. The role involves conducting classroom sessions, building electronics and robotics projects, maintaining lab equipment, and helping students develop problem-solving and engineering skills.
The candidate should be comfortable working with students across different age groups and be able to simplify complex technical concepts into engaging, practical learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. AI & Robotics Teaching
Deliver engaging and interactive AI, Robotics, Electronics, Coding, and STEM lectures/workshops for K–12 students.
Conduct both theoretical and practical sessions using project-based learning.
Explain technical concepts according to the age and learning level of students.
Encourage students to build, experiment, troubleshoot, and develop their own projects.
Conduct demonstrations, activities, experiments, competitions, and robotics challenges.
2. Electronics & Arduino Projects
Design, develop, and demonstrate hands-on electronics and robotics projects.
Build projects using Arduino Uno and compatible microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, motors, displays, and other electronic components.
Work with sensors such as:
IR Sensors
Ultrasonic Sensors
LDR
Temperature & Humidity Sensors
PIR Sensors
Soil Moisture Sensors
RFID
Gas/Smoke Sensors
Joystick Modules
Servo Motors and DC Motors
LEDs, Buzzers, Displays, etc.
Read and understand basic circuit diagrams and wiring.
Troubleshoot hardware, wiring, sensor, and programming issues.
Guide students in developing functional prototypes and working models.
3. Programming & Computer Science
Teach age-appropriate programming and computational thinking concepts.
Work with programming environments and languages such as:
Arduino C/C++
Python
Block-based programming
Scratch / ScratchJr
PictoBlox
Basic web/computer science concepts
Understand programming fundamentals such as variables, loops, conditions, functions, algorithms, and debugging.
Help students connect programming concepts with real-world robotics and AI applications.
4. AI & Emerging Technologies
Introduce students to fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Generative AI, and automation.
Demonstrate practical applications of AI through age-appropriate activities and projects.
Stay updated with emerging AI, robotics, and STEM technologies.
Integrate AI tools and technologies into classroom activities where appropriate.
5. Strong Science & Physics Foundation
Apply Physics and Science concepts to robotics and engineering projects.
Explain concepts such as:
Force and Motion
Friction
Energy
Electricity
Magnetism
Light
Sound
Pressure
Mechanical systems
Basic circuits
Connect theoretical science concepts with practical experiments and robotics applications.
Help students understand the science behind how machines and robots work.
6. K–12 Student Engagement
Cater to students from Grade 1 to Grade 12, adapting teaching methodology according to age and competency.
Maintain an engaging, interactive, and student-friendly classroom environment.
Identify students' learning gaps and provide appropriate guidance.
Encourage creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, design thinking, and innovation.
Manage classroom activities effectively, including large groups of students.
7. Lab & Equipment Management
Take responsibility for the proper handling, safety, storage, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Ensure robotics kits, electronic components, tools, computers, 3D printers, and other lab equipment are properly maintained.
Perform basic troubleshooting and identify damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
Maintain inventory of components and consumables.
Ensure the lab is organized and ready before and after sessions.
Follow all laboratory safety protocols.
Report equipment damage, shortages, or technical issues to the concerned team.
8. Project Development
Develop new AI, Robotics, Electronics, and STEM projects for students.
Modify existing projects according to student age and curriculum requirements.
Prepare project documentation, circuit diagrams, code, activity sheets, and demonstrations.
Assist in developing STEM curriculum, lesson plans, worksheets, and practical activities.
Support students during exhibitions, competitions, science fairs, and innovation events.
9. Training & Professional Development
Participate in internal training programs provided by the organization.
Continuously upgrade knowledge in AI, Robotics, Electronics, Programming, and emerging technologies.
Learn and effectively use new educational tools, platforms, kits, and technologies introduced by the organization.
