The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and premises. This includes monitoring, patrolling, and responding to incidents in accordance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
Patrolling & Surveillance
Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols of the premises.
Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems.
Identify and report any suspicious activity, security breaches, or safety hazards.
Access Control
Manage entry and exit points for staff, visitors, and vehicles.
Verify identity and issue visitor passes.
Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Incident Response
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies such as fire, theft, or medical situations.
Contact emergency services when required.
Record all incidents accurately in the daily log or incident report.
Customer Service
Provide assistance and directions to visitors and employees.
Maintain a courteous and professional attitude at all times.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily activity reports, incident reports, and attendance logs.
Submit timely reports to the supervisor or designated authority.
Compliance & Safety
Follow all safety protocols, fire prevention procedures, and emergency evacuation plans.
Ensure that rules and regulations are adhered to within the premises.
Conduct routine checks on fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and other safety equipment.
Minimum education: Graduation or equivalent.
Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of security operations and safety practices.
Physically fit and alert.
Ability to read and write in English (as per client requirement).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Police verification and KYC documents mandatory.
