Security Compliance Engineer Role Summary Security Compliance Engineer with a strong mix of automation expertise and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) knowledge. The role focuses on building automation to support compliance processes, audit readiness, and infrastructure operations. Key Skills Required Automation & Scripting Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting language for automation, reporting, and audit support Ability to automate manual processes, data extraction, and reporting workflows Experience building automation solutions for Service Delivery Managers (SDMs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) Technical Environment Active Directory (identity and access management system) Microsoft Exchange (email platform) Windows Server environments Microsoft Azure (cloud platform) Microsoft Office 365 (cloud productivity services) GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Basic understanding of security and IT controls Risk identification and assessment Audit and compliance processes Audit readiness (evidence collection and validation) Compliance reporting and dashboards Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure and compliance operations Support audit and compliance activities through automated data collection and reporting Collaborate with engineering and compliance teams to implement security controls Identify manual processes and drive automation-led improvements Ideal Candidate Profile 3–8 years of relevant experience in automation, infrastructure, or compliance roles Strong problem-solving skills with focus on efficiency and scalability Ability to bridge technical engineering and compliance requirements Recruiter Checklist PowerShell scripting experience Exposure to Active Directory / Windows / Azure Basic understanding of compliance or audit Experience with automation or scripting projects EY | Building a better working world EY is building a better working world by creating new value for clients, people, society and the planet, while building trust in capital markets.
