About Position: Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market. The sales manager must endeavour to provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Create plan and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contribute to develop or establishes connections with clients by regular visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets across assigned regions.
Identify new business opportunities, key accounts, distributors, and channel partners within the textile market.
Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Lead, mentor, and guide the sales team to maximize productivity and performance.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, MIS reports, budgets, and performance updates to management.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients while maintaining company profitability.
Coordinate with production, marketing, logistics, and design teams for smooth order execution.
Attend industry exhibitions, trade shows, and customer visits as required (Pan India travel).
Ensure timely payment collection and adherence to company credit policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
5–10 years of experience in sales within the textile industry (fabric, home furnishings, garments, yarn, or related products).
Strong network and understanding of textile markets, buying houses, wholesalers, and retailers.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
Ability to lead a team and achieve sales targets with a strong result-oriented approach.
Willingness to travel extensively across Pan India..
