Roles & Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Generate new enquiries and handle existing clients.
Conduct client meetings, technical discussions, and negotiations for order finalization.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
Estimation & Costing
Study client drawings, RFQs, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Prepare cost estimations for Heavy Fabrication, Sheet Metal, and Drilling works.
Calculate material, machining, fabrication, welding, finishing, and overhead costs.
Prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable quotations.
Government Tenders & Bidding
Prepare and submit techno-commercial bids for Government tenders (BHEL, NTPC, EIL, ONGC, etc.).
Study tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical scope, and commercial conditions.
Coordinate with internal departments for technical clarifications and document submission.
Ensure timely submission of tenders and compliance with all requirements.
Follow up on tender results and maintain records of submitted bids.
Technical Coordination
Coordinate closely with Production, Design, and Purchase departments.
Provide clients with technical clarifications and finalize requirements.
Track order execution and provide timely updates to clients.
Market Research & Strategy
Conduct competitor analysis and track industry trends.
Identify and develop new clients and business opportunities.
Suggest strategies to management for sales growth and cost optimization.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of estimation and costing in Heavy Fabrication, Sheet Metal, and Drilling operations.
Ability to handle Government e-Tenders (BHEL, NTPC, ONGC, EIL, State/Central Govt. departments).
Proficiency in online tender portals and documentation.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (AutoCAD/SolidWorks preferred).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
Experience in client interaction and techno-commercial handling.
Qualification & Experience:
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (mandatory).
3–6 years of relevant experience in Sales, Estimation & Tendering (preferably in Fabrication / Engineering Industry).
