Job Title:

Technical Sales Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with excellent sales skills. You will be responsible for understanding the technical needs of our clients, providing solutions, and driving sales growth.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels.

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:

Understand and demonstrate the technical aspects of our products and services.

Provide technical support and advice to customers, including pre-sales technical assistance and product education.

Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.

Customer Relationship Management:

Serve as the main point of contact for customers on technical matters.

Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.

Ensure customer satisfaction and handle any technical issues or concerns.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

Work closely with the sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities.

Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to ensure product solutions meet customer needs.

Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer requirements and market trends.

Market Research and Analysis:

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.

Provide market feedback to the sales and product development teams.

Analyze sales data and metrics to inform sales strategies and tactics.

Proposal and Documentation:

Prepare and deliver technical proposals and presentations to customers.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications, application notes, and user manuals.

Assist in the preparation of sales quotes and contracts.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Strong understanding of technical products and solutions relevant to the industry.

Proficiency in using technical software and tools related to the product.

Sales Skills:

Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong negotiation and closing skills.

Ability to understand and analyze sales metrics and data.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:

Ability to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.

Strong analytical skills to assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate products.

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle technical challenges.

Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Experience in providing exceptional customer service and support.
