Sales Support:
Assist the sales team with administrative tasks such as preparing proposals, quotations, and sales presentations specific to the chemical industry.
Coordinate customer inquiries, provide information on chemical products, pricing, and availability.
Ensure that the sales team is equipped with the necessary technical and product information to support client conversations.
Maintain and update the customer database, including details about product preferences, pricing, and sales history.
Order Management:
Process customer orders for chemical products, ensuring accurate order entry and documentation.
Liaise with production, warehousing, and logistics teams to track and manage order fulfillment, ensuring on-time delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure product availability.
Communicate any product shortages, delays, or issues with orders to the sales team and clients.
Customer Relationship Management:
Serve as a point of contact for existing and potential clients, addressing any concerns or issues related to orders, products, or services.
Ensure customer satisfaction by proactively addressing inquiries and providing updates on order status.
Assist in managing long-term relationships with key customers, ensuring their needs are met and exploring opportunities for repeat business.
Product and Technical Assistance:
Collaborate with the technical and R&D teams to provide accurate product information to customers, especially regarding chemical specifications, usage, safety data, and regulatory compliance.
Assist in training the sales team on the technical aspects of the chemical products to enhance their selling capabilities.
Sales Reporting and Analytics:
Prepare regular sales reports, tracking order volumes, customer feedback, and market trends in the chemical industry.
Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth, process improvements, and areas needing attention.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales targets, customer satisfaction, and inventory levels.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure that all sales processes and documentation comply with industry regulations and standards, including safety data sheets (SDS), chemical labeling, and environmental guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of contracts, pricing agreements, and customer communications.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with internal departments such as logistics, finance, and production to ensure smooth coordination of orders and deliveries.
Participate in sales meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding customer needs, sales strategies, and product improvements.
Support the marketing team in promotional efforts, campaigns, and customer outreach specific to the chemical market.
