Job Summary:

As a Retail Sales Executive at Karamchand's Store, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, driving sales, and helping to maintain an exceptional in-store experience. Your role will involve assisting customers in selecting the right garments, promoting our products, and ensuring the store is organized and fully stocked. You will also collaborate with the store team to meet sales targets and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence:

  • Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, offering assistance in a friendly, professional manner.

  • Understand customer needs and offer personalized garment recommendations based on style preferences, body type, and occasion.

  • Assist with fitting room service, helping customers find the right size and style.

  • Provide styling advice and upsell related items such as accessories, shoes, or outerwear to complete outfits.

  • Handle customer complaints, returns, or exchanges in a courteous and effective manner.

  • Sales and Product Knowledge:

  • Promote and upsell clothing items, accessories, and seasonal collections to increase sales.

  • Stay current with the latest fashion trends, product features, and promotions to offer the best recommendations to customers.

  • Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets by building relationships with customers and ensuring they find the best products.

  • Demonstrate product knowledge, including fabric types, garment care, and fit.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining visually appealing in-store displays that reflect current trends and seasonal promotions.

  • Store Operations:

  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times, adhering to the store's layout and display standards.

  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and tagging new inventory as it arrives.

  • Keep track of inventory levels on the sales floor and report low stock or replenishment needs to the store manager.

  • Help with the proper arrangement of garments on the sales floor to ensure the store is well-merchandised and easy to shop.

  • Customer Transactions:

  • Process customer transactions at the cash register, ensuring accuracy in pricing, discounts, and payment methods.

  • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.

  • Offer gift wrapping and other services as needed to enhance the customer shopping experience.

  • Team Collaboration:

  • Work with fellow sales associates to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.

  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members, sharing best practices for customer engagement and sales success.

  • Promotions and Customer Retention:

  • Promote store loyalty programs, discounts, and seasonal promotions to encourage repeat business.

  • Build relationships with customers and maintain a client database to encourage customer retention.

  • Follow up with customers on recent purchases to ensure satisfaction and offer assistance with future shopping needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years experience in retail sales, preferably in the fashion or garment industry, is preferred.

  • Customer-Oriented: A passion for fashion and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

  • Sales Skills: Ability to achieve sales targets, upsell, and recommend products effectively.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with customers, team members, and management.

  • Product Knowledge: A good understanding of fashion trends, garment types, and fabric care.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain an organized sales floor and ensure accurate product displays.

  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team-oriented environment.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment, adjusting to changing store needs and customer preferences.

  • Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office is a plus.
