Job Summary:
The Franchise Acquisition Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and onboarding qualified franchise partners for the company’s import and export services. This role requires strategic planning, market analysis, and strong relationship-building skills to drive the expansion of the company’s franchise network both domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
Franchise Development:
Identify potential franchisees, present the business model, and guide prospects through the acquisition process.
Market Research:
Conduct market analysis to identify high-potential regions for franchise growth in the import/export sector.
Lead Generation:
Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective franchisees using digital marketing, referrals, trade shows, and industry networks.
Franchisee Evaluation:
Assess potential franchisees for financial capability, business acumen, and alignment with the company’s values and standards.
Contract Negotiation:
Lead negotiations and coordinate with legal teams to finalize franchise agreements.
Onboarding Support:
Oversee onboarding of new franchisees, ensuring they are well-versed in operational processes, compliance, and brand standards.
Collaboration:
Work closely with operations, marketing, and finance teams to ensure franchise success and consistency.
Performance Tracking:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) of newly acquired franchises to ensure alignment with business goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in franchise development, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or import/export industries.
Strong understanding of international trade regulations and logistics frameworks.
Proven track record in B2B sales, franchising, or business development.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in cross-border trade or freight forwarding.
Multilingual abilities.
Familiarity with CRM and lead management tools.
Ability to analyze financial statements and assess business viability.
