Position Overview:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for connecting with potential students,
conducting counselling sessions, and assisting them in completing the admission process for various
partnered university programs. The role requires excellent communication, persuasion, and
relationship-building skills to help students make informed decisions while achieving admission and
sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Connect with prospective students through inbound and outbound calls, messages, and online
platforms.
Counsel students about available university programs, eligibility criteria, and career outcomes.
Guide students throughout the entire admission process — from enquiry to enrollment.
Maintain strong product knowledge of partnered university courses and admission policies.
Coordinate with university partners to ensure smooth processing of student applications and
documentation.
Achieve weekly and monthly admission targets set by the management.
Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and conversions using CRM or Excel trackers.
Participate in education fairs, student webinars, and promotional events when required.
Provide feedback and market insights to improve marketing and counselling strategies.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication and counselling skills.
Strong sales and target orientation.
Ability to build rapport with students and parents.
Good understanding of the education and admission process.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred: Education, Business, or Marketing).
1–3 years of experience in counselling, admissions, or business development in the education /
EdTech industry.
Freshers with strong communication and a learning mindset are also welcome.
