Job Description:
We are hiring a dynamic Counselor cum PR professional to be part of an esteemed Government Project undertaken for the Bihar Government. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students and their parents through our vocational and skill development training programs. This is a public-sector-focused initiative aimed at empowering the youth of Bihar through quality education and career-oriented training.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel prospective students and parents about the available courses under the Bihar Government’s education and training initiative.
Conduct informative sessions both over the phone and in person to guide students regarding career options and academic paths.
Engage with students at colleges and educational institutes to spread awareness about the government-supported training programs.
Provide detailed insights into course offerings, career prospects, and funding options available under the project.
Act as a liaison between students, parents, and the training institute to ensure smooth communication and trust.
Collaborate closely with the marketing and outreach teams to generate qualified leads and improve student enrollment.
Stay informed about government policies, education trends, and related competitor offerings.
Support students in taking ownership of their career journey, and provide continuous academic and career counseling.
Oversee the full admissions cycle for the center, ensuring timely and professional handling of all inquiries and applications.
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with students, parents, and institutional partners.
Project Context:
This is a government-affiliated initiative specifically designed to support skill development for youth from Bihar. The role requires sensitivity to regional needs, excellent communication skills in Hindi and English, and a commitment to public service and education empowerment.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Graduate from any recognized university.
Experience: Minimum of 1+ years in counseling, PR, or student advisory roles.
Language: Fluency in Hindi is essential; English proficiency preferred.
Behavioral Competencies:
